I
would like to bring to your attention a lecture Florian Rivière,
french urban hacktivist. This is a story about how you can find in
the urban space ideas for fun, entertaining pastime thereby
discovering the hidden potential of the surrounding urban objects.
The author claims that these investigations often occur spontaneously
, fun, reversible and raw, exclusive and in the case are any
improvised means or accidentally found.
Florian's activities in
something similar to children practice , when a child makes a
discovery in the surrounding objects without understanding the
purpose and function of these objects, based on personal intuition
and imagination.
Theme Urban Hacking partly overlaps with examples (
ideas ) described in the book of Herman Hertzberger «Lessons For
Students in Architecture».
Unfortunately
I can't upload the video lectures in the post due to the limitations
on the size of the files. On
this page you can view the full version of the lecture: http://vimeo.com/72647497
