Erik Bulatov "I LIVE - I SEE"

Bulatov is one of the greatest avangard painters of the past decades.

This fall «Manezh» present the biggest exhibition of the author’s works.

The tetrospective's title is a very apt and clever anagram in Russian, borrowed from one of Bulatov's famous pieces: "Zhivu- Vizhu". This is literally translates into English means "I Live and I See".

I also like the fact that an important part of the exhibition was an information program: films and photographs, as well as an international scientific conference dedicated to the master and his time. It will culminate with a performance of Eric Bulatov. In one of the next days the artist will hold an open public display of the exhibition.
