Art exhibition "The diversity of unity. The territory of the subtle energies". MSU

Art exhibition "The diversity of unity. The territory of the subtle energies", passing at MSU December 3, represents a new direction in art - Systematism.

Inspired by the Russian avant-garde of the early 20th century, the well-known contemporary artists Dmitry Gaev-Orlov and Andrei Vereshchagin have established scientific-research art to the viewers of the exhibition.

The main direction of the exhibition was devoted to geometric forms and organizing, systematizing principle of nature, man and subtle energies. The artists artworks investigate and represent the systemic laws of nature and world cultural codes. Also they illustrate the principle of unity in diversity of material and ideological systems. I think that the exhibition was demonstrating the way how visually the subtle energy comes from basic things, such as supreme geometric forms, which in its term came up from nature.

The technique used in these large-scale paintings, is also in charge of the exhibition theme - Systematism. Paintings are done very pasty, what makes the painting itself look graphically. That is common with the theme of unity and diversity - the paint itself defines the graphic pattern on the space of the canvas. Also the colors used in this paintings are very bright and mixed, what gives a strong impression of a unite feeling of a color itself instead of recognizing a separate color.
